Comedian Contest
The total prize pool is $5,000 USD.
Additional prizes may be added to the pool at the discretion of the site owners.
Entry is valid for persons 18+ years old
Entries open September 4th 2012 and closes September 3rd 2013
Entry is open to people of all countries, states, provinces and counties except where local law forbids this contest mechanism.
Contestants must be amateur (defined as earning less than $5,000 USD) per year from comedy.
Entrants are required to supply up to 5 minutes of contiguous video footage via upload or embed files. You may use multiple camera angles. The timing and scenes must be uninterrupted.
The winner will be determined by popular vote using an online voting mechanism. Any attempt to tamper with this device by or on behalf of a comedian may result in that entries disqualification at the sole discretion of the site owners.
Any editing of content (other than cutting it to fit inside the 5 minute timeframe) may result in the entry being disqualified at the sole discretion of the site owners
FiveMinutesLive.com and its company owner may use any uploaded footage for promotional purposes
Generally content will not be censored; nudity or sexually explicit imagery may be refused entry by sole discretion of the site owners
The winning entry will be determined by the highest number of unique votes.
